Parent Welcome Letter

 

Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you. My name is Mary Williams, and I will be teaching seventh and eighth grade math this year. This will be my first full year teaching here at North Zulch, but I student taught here last fall with Mr. Smith in 7th and 8th grade math, and I taught Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II last spring. I received my degree in interdisciplinary studies to teach Math in grades 4-8 from Texas A&M in December of 2014. I look forward to a great year of hard work and I am proud to be teaching at North Zulch ISD! 

 

In math, students will be expected to be working at school and at home in order to fully understand the more advanced concepts. You can expect your son/daughter to have homework frequently. If your son/daughter needs extra help with his/her homework or simply has a question, I am usually available before school around 7:30am and after school until 4:30pm. I have many expectations for my students here at North Zulch ISD and hard work is one of them.
